Step 1

Make an outline of the subject on a canvas with the help of a pencil.

Step 2

Once the outline is done, we can highlight the subject by merging two colours and using a thin brush. In the below art, the artist has used red and green colour for highlighting.

Step 3

After the highlighting is done, we can begin with the application of the base colour.

Final Step

Once the base colour is evenly applied. You can now go ahead and apply the various shades as per your choice. The end result- is definitely worth the effort!
